Statue of President Andrew Jackson, hero of the Battle of New Orleans, in Jackson Square with St. Louis Cathedral in the background
Jessie Jackson was my upstairs neighbor for the past year or two and we often saw him. I regret not having the opportunity to talk to him other than hellos and goodbyes. Over the past few months we watched his health decline and knew the end was near. While I didn't always agree with him, there is no doubt that he opened many doors for my generation.

This is a well used walking and bike path atop a levee along the Snake River. The autumn colors are well past their prime, but still provide a touch of color. Forest fire smoke has temporarily moved up the valley allowing a view of the Grand Teton.
The shadows transform the asphalt path into an interesting leading line.

This is a 3-image HDR taken from a bridge over Jackson Creek...behind me is the Hood Canal...located in the Olympic National Park in WA.
My wee pal Jacksons holiday adventures in the Scottish Highlands (2 weeks in 7 minutes.) Loads of four legged fun was had exploring the highlands.
Located in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, Jackson's Mill is at the site of the covered bridge bearing the same name. As noted in America's Covered Bridges by Terry Miller and Ronald Knapp, the mill dates to 1839 and operated until 1951. I took this shot while visiting the area 10 years ago.

This 50’ mural on the corrugated siding of Jackson’s Fish Market in Port Stanley, ON, depicts the rescue of the crew of an American schooner by a Canadian crew on October 29th, 1902, earning the Canadians gold medals, awarded by then President, Theodore Roosevelt.
The mural tells the story the dramatic rescue of a sinking ship called the Mineral State. In 1902, the 140’ schooner was floundering. At dusk, crowds in Port Stanley watched as a tiny lifeboat rescued the 6-man schooner crew and brought them safely into Port Stanley harbour.
The corrugated siding gives the mural a 3D appearance. Although it has been retouched, it was painted by Artist Fred Harrison.
The Leica Q2M continues to impress.
Ah, the Michael Jackson movie. Y'all wanna know how I liked the MJ movie, don't ya?
Well, I liked it. It is a movie for the MJ fans. Am I a fan? ohhh, everyone from '78 is a fan. The movie: MJ loves animals, MJ loves his fans, MJ loves his brothers and MJ is so creative.
The story is a bit thin but the concert bits are out of this world! Especially 'Human Nature' with movie theater audio and visuals was pretty spectacular.
The 80s in itself was spectacular. And the 90s. And the start of de 2000s. Miami Vice, Michael Jordan, Ayrton Senna, Terminator 2, Serie A football. Yep, we hit peak western civilization right there. Then it went downhill. Look at this shit we have right now man. The Monkey Town generation. Look at the shit we've got ourselfs into.
Shot from Signal Mountain in Grand Teton National Park. I was lucky enough to catch the milky way over the city of Jackson, Wyoming and even catch the Grand Tetons as well!

So, before I moved upstairs to isolate from myself from my family as I have to continue to work during this pandemic. I prepared a few hand boiled eggs to keep in my fridge. I am not used to the temperature of the fridge and ended up freezing some of them. Frozen egg is terrible. The boredom of being isolated and there is only so much tv to watch so I thought about going Jackson Pollock on my ruined egg. I think it turned out pretty good.
