too early for halloween decorations? found these in the basement today and couldn't resist putting them out :)

THEME: HALLOWEEN

SUBJECT: JACK-O-LANTERN

NOTE TO MODS: This is a mini plastic jack-o-lantern purchased from the local dollar store, about 2.5" in diameter. I, then, cropped it to focus on the face only. Shown is about 2" horizontally.

Another (and last) shot of our Jack O'Lantern mushrooms. This is actually an image of the earliest stage of development.

(not quite 2.5" horizontally. This is a plastic 2" round jack-o-lantern. There is a battery-operated light inside but opted on turning it off.)

Instead of smashing my Halloween pumpkin, I set him free in the middle of the woods.

Stage 7:

Finally you get to purchase your pumpkin and bring it home. At home you will cut it open and pull out all the insides, then carve your pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern!!!

Two years ago I attempted to carve a wild thing pumpkin. This year as wild things was the theme of our kids party. So I wanted to take another stab at the wild thing idea. This carving took just under 4 hours to Finnish. This is dedicated to my son who played Max this year
