We had our annual pumpkin carving party for family - reduced numbers, and all out in the yard this year. Socially distanced, and masked. Here are the results!
Made in 2014 but never posted in Flickr... so it kept for 2015

too early for halloween decorations? found these in the basement today and couldn't resist putting them out :)
Another (and last) shot of our Jack O'Lantern mushrooms. This is actually an image of the earliest stage of development.
I will be away from Flickr for a week or so. See you when I get back.

(not quite 2.5" horizontally. This is a plastic 2" round jack-o-lantern. There is a battery-operated light inside but opted on turning it off.)
:D best holiday ever!!!!!!!! if I didn't have halloween to look forward to my life would be worthless! (Kinda slight exaggeration, only slight!)
Sorry about this, my external hard-drive is stuffed, gotta use my phone as a external hard-drive! (Which suckss!!!!!!!)

Stage 7:
Finally you get to purchase your pumpkin and bring it home. At home you will cut it open and pull out all the insides, then carve your pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern!!!
Two years ago I attempted to carve a wild thing pumpkin. This year as wild things was the theme of our kids party. So I wanted to take another stab at the wild thing idea. This carving took just under 4 hours to Finnish. This is dedicated to my son who played Max this year
I saw a photo on Flickr about 3 years ago of someone who did this and I vowed I would do this some day. The kids loved it. And it was a hit. We spent Halloween at our neighbor Joe and Dinah's house, and I had our pumpkin on a table next to theirs. Our pumpkin got a lot of praise from trick-or-treaters. :)
To scare some folks on Halloween,
I'll tell you what I'll do.
I'll hide behind this pumpkin face,
and then I'll yell . . .BOOO!
