Another old one of me flopped on floor.

The chunky zipper on my favourite Jacket - my effort for Macro Mondays on the theme of Zipper

Pattern: Baby Surprise Jacket by Elizabeth Zimmermann from the Opinionated Knitter

Yarn: Noro Silk Garden Lite (every last bit of 2 skeins)

Needles: Size 3 Bamboo

Notes: I may now join the minions of amazed and surprised knitters. Knitting along on a shapeless mass of fabric only to fold it together into an neat little jacket. No recipient: knitted this one out of pure curiosity.

Finished a little jacket that coordinates with the embroidery. :o)

I was toying around with different photo filters, trying to save this over exposed shot of the 1967 Reefer Jacket. Part from giving the jacket a much lighter blue than it has in reality it also exposed peculiar pink stains!!

These can't be seen with the naked eye (see previous photo). Odd isn't it? It's like one of those crime shows when the labb discovers blood stains with the help of infrared light or whatnot.

What have Sindy been up to I wonder? Bumped into an 80s rouged up Barbie? Outbursts of spontaneous pink mildew? Has she be been crayoned by the feral Blythe children?

Will we ever know?

Not likely.
