First iteration of a poster for a concept product series about songwriting utilizing the guitar.
Guitar: Gateway Instrument is a concept of a series of products (a mobile app, a magazine and a day-long seminar) geared toward songwriting utilizing the guitar.

Later iterations of the Gemeinde Wien projects extended the perimeter block typology to span multiple blocks. This is the ceremonial entrance to Matteoti Hof near the Margaretengürtel. Note that the retail uses are exiled to small pavilions just outside the "town gate"; inside is just houses and playgrounds.
Iteration 2 is a swept rectang to allow for more contact on the print bed. The functionality still remains with a slightly different design.
Just because the idea is 'in the air', as a gentle reminder that everything comes to a type of fruition in its own time. It's just a question of sitting with it or on it, even.
Iterative - Generative Desktop: First in a series of of desktop wallpapers combining generative art and iterative design.
The iteration here being a bit more bling and contrast than the first, softer version.

In the current iteration of Robonaut, Robonaut 2 or R2, NASA and General Motors are working together with assistance from Oceaneering Space Systems engineers to accelerate development of the next generation of robots and related technologies for use in the automotive and aerospace industries. Robonaut 2 (R2) is a state of the art highly dexterous anthropomorphic robot. Like its predecessor Robonaut 1 (R1), R2 is capable of handling a wide range of EVA tools and interfaces, but R2 is a significant advancement over its predecessor.
Initially R2 will be deployed on a fixed pedestal inside the ISS. Next steps include a leg for climbing through the corridors of the Space Station, upgrades for R2 to go outside into the vacuum of space, and then future lower bodies like legs and wheels to propel the R2 across Lunar and Martian terrain. A four wheeled rover called Centaur 2 is being evaluated at the 2010 Desert Field Test in Arizona as an example of these future lower bodies for R2.
The latest iteration of my Tompkins Square Park Tree Map. I think I finally have the tree numbering/naming scheme figured out. I've divided the park up into various segments and created trails around them. For example, instead of a single trail along Avenue B, it is divided into north, central and south. And they are divided into trees west of the sidewalk (in the park) and east (along the curb). Thus the first tree on Avenue B along the sidewalk, a great old elm, is numbered/named Bne1. The trails travel clockwise. For the circular trails, the ones that circle the "islands," the numbers start at the northernmost (most uptown) tree. This has required me to name these segments, these names are open to comment. Some of the gardens have official names, If you know an official or otherwise name for any of these areas, let me know. This is still too full of errors for me to release a hi-res version.
By the way I am using Inkscape the fine open-source vector graphics editing program to draw the map.

In the first iteration I realised I had crammed them all in too close, using a 2 stud gap between each figure. I then went back over the layout and stripped out alternating guys, leaving a 6 stud gap between columns and a 5 stud separation in each row, with a 2 stud offset on alternating columns. It meant I would be able to fill the available surface more completely, but my family returned from holiday before I finished (because I got a bit bored of it) and it got dismantled due to space restrictions as we had guests coming. Mk III will be better next year.
Day 345 of 2015. Kate and I are cooking up a little experiment. We gave it our first shot today. Here's Kate's reaction upon reviewing our work.

Previous iteration in construction.
Left: Short chassis. Right: Long chassis
Both have working live axle suspension with portal axles that allow the wheels to rotate, both engine are removable.
The elastic bands are what make the suspension work, they hold the axles together and hook into robot arms connected to the chassis to hold the axles at a distance from the chassis, giving it suspention.

A collective installation by Constant & esc
"I don’t know where this is going" is the second part of Iterations, a project investigating the future of collaborative artistic practices in a technologically networked context. The exhibition presents a collective installation by Pascale Barret (BE/FR), Miriam Raggam (AT), Claire Williams (BE/FR), François Zajega (BE), Julien Deswaef (USA/BE) and Annie Abrahams (NL/FR).
This iteration of Batman will give fans a first-hand opportunity to dive deeper into the complex life and mind of Bruce Wayne, the duality of his own identity, and the struggle of responsibility in saving a city overcome with corruption and villainy.

Delineation is an iterative process for mapping the boundaries of a KBA. It typically employs spatial and ecological datasets to derive initial site boundaries, and considers the manageability of sites in order to enhance the prospects for biodiversity persistence. The ecological data cover habitat extent, species occurrence, feeding or breeding sites, boundaries of previously identified important biodiversity sites, topography, and land use and management units (such as protected areas, private lands, or concessions). Ecological boundaries are refined to produce boundaries of a site that is actually or potentially manageable as a single unit. Ideally, the process engages site managers in collaboration with stakeholders having relevant expertise. Many KBAs overlap wholly or partly with existing protected area boundaries, including Ramsar or UNESCO World Heritage sites and areas protected at the national or local level, but not all KBAs are or should become protected areas. Other management approaches may also be appropriate.

This iteration of the cross has all the iconographic trimmings.
After the mass to celebrate the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the faithful returned the statue of Jesus to the Church of Santa Gertrudis at the bottom of the hill.

Early iteration of nephew's home-made 3D printer. This used a wooden base and all the movements were on drawer runners purchased from, I think, B&Q. This was later rebuilt using better quality runners to improve precision. This is a lo-res video because it's a fairly ancient camera designed to use 32Mb cards.
