The Ponte dei Sospiri, the "Bridge of Sighs" Venice, Italy.
I have been neglecting my Italy vacation photos. I have over one thousand photos from Venice, Milan and Lake Como. This only makes the third photo I have processed. See 1 and 2.

Testing grain of Ilford Delta 400 film in Moersch Finol at higher developer temperature.
Shot with an Hexar Af 35mm film camera.
Exposed EI 620, 1/240s F 16.
Developed in Moersch Finol 1+90, 6 minutes at 28°C, first minute constant agitation then 5 inversions every 15 seconds.
Fixed in Moersch ATS alcaline fixer to preserve the stain, 5 minutes, first minute constant agitation then 10 seconds inversions at beginning of each minute
Washed in flowing tap water for 8 minutes.
Scanned to true optical 2900dpi with a custom macro setup.
No sharpening or noise reduction applied.
Original file available.
High developer temperature takes a toll on grain size here but great performance nevertheless considering the effective EI of ASA 640.
Given how good Delta 400 developed in Moersch Finol is, I'm surprised that this combo is still relatively unknown to most film photographers.
No other ASA 400 film/dev combo I know of is capable of preserving real shadow detail at EI 620 while retaining decent grain and great tones.
Staining effect is particularly effective in delivering highlights with good separation and tidy grain.
