Venus has been predominant the last couple of months along with Jupiter in the Night sky..This is looking toward the sunset..Venus chases the sun in the sky it is so close..This is looking south on St Augustine Beach from the pier down towards Crescent Beach and a little further to Daytona. Loving the HDR..the trick seems to be to use some restraint....I may not be able to handle it......On this picture..the original was a little more contrasty..but the shadows were completely black and the overall picture was not as warm...it was probably just a slight bit sharper though this one sharpened up pretty good.

Catalytic confrontations
Calculated crawl,
Embryonic isolations,
Future free-for-all.
Energetic exhortation,
Apoplexied brawl,
Catatonic saturation,
Isometric ball.
Egocentric salutation,
Fatalistic fall,
Megalithic mumbo jumbo,
Paganistic pall.
Pugilistic palpitation,
Excavated sprawl,
Perspiration aggravation,
Aspirated wall.
Ammunition malnutrition,
Superstition stall,
California concentrated,
Captivated thrall.
Bound and ground,
Then taken down,
By the very best-
With one more show
Worth watching,
And then we’re headed west.
Recreation generation,
By the book denomination,
Families filled with hesitation,
RVs racked for roaming.
Picking up the pieces,
Layed down on the land,
With wasted wealth and watersheds,
And regions raped by man.
Calibration castigations,
Asymmetric aberrations,
Guided tours with revelations,
Ratted out and ruined.
Catastrophic congregations,
Commutated castings,
Calvinistic computations,
Debonair and prancing.
Altruistic aspirations,
Stoned, bemoaned abbreviations,
Terrified with trepidations,
Gnomes long gone and gassed!
Honed and cloned then overthrown,
Granted one last wish-
Celebrated, then negated-
Dangling near the dish!
Partisan unprinciples,
In petrifying packs-
With news and views
And loop-de-loos,
And stab-‘em-in-the-backs.
Ready for the ruckus,
Sitting at the shrine,
Thought they really
Had the goods,
Now listen to the whine.
Thought they had it marketed,
Cornered and refined,
Around the town
The teaching wound,
Until they lost their mind.
Settling to the bottom,
They slid to lower ground,
Between the lines and valentines,
Some lost their Royal Crowns.
Terroristic tinkering,
Tumbling and tinkling,
Fundamental farkles,
Helpful and home grown.
Patriotic particles,
Hidden in the articles,
Compact and post partial,
Buried to the bone.
Vacuumed packed
And gunny-sacked,
Pre-segmented squalls,
Appalachian apparitions,
Headed to the malls.
Fevered and fantastic men,
Marching to the moon,
With masticating matriarchs,
In subcutaneous swoon.
Breasts blown up beautiful,
Complicated castings,
Fallen faces on the floor,
Mesmerized for masking.
Sacrificial sublimations,
Surrogates sublime,
Tetrahedral, analgesic,
Sentimental crimes.
Pawing, pungent prisoners,
Soothing, sexy swine-
Sows and cows and sinning sons,
Tasting tempting wines.
Navigation nuances,
Nuptials by Nair,
Feudalistic fragrances,
Held up with heavy hair.
Practical imbalances,
Factory unrepairs,
New wave cold and chemical friends,
Facts blown up with air.
Salivating swindlers,
Solo Simon says,
High-falutin prostitution,
Fixed up with the Feds.
Sports and courts and teasing torts,
Women going wild-
Dow Jones Average hemorrhage,
Help the homeless child.
Down the daunting highway,
Less than overnight,
Covering ground without a sound,
Filtered by first light.
Lazy lit up lethargy,
Loosed by lying lips,
Bought the farm in triplicate,
Then sailed a sinking ship.
Galvanizing garrisons,
Gathering at the line,
Pushed ahead though nearly dead,
They won it one more time.
Tested in the tumult,
On solid ground they stand,
Groping with the changer,
Positioned close at hand.
Nightly, brightly flickering,
Turn the clicker off-
Before you go,
Don’t miss the show,
An evening totally lost!

An illustration showing how to construct an isometric ellipse by compass and six circle arcs.
"Divide OA and OB each into three equal parts; draw the quadrant AC. From C, draw the line Cc through the point 1. Through the points 2 draw de at an angle of 45° with the major axis. Then 2 is the center for the ends of the ellipse; e is the center for the arc dc; and C is the center for the arc cf."

Courtyard of the Getty Villa, in California. Lots of lines and architectural elements here for any building nerd (myself included). Had to wait to make sure no one was in the frame to break up the beauty here. Also, lots of cool art and history to see here - go if you have a chance. via 500px ift.tt/1mcS8KD
The righthand end of the finished drawing an isometric projection cutaway drawing, at 1:100 scale. This shows the part if the building added shortly after the smoking chamber was built, around 1700. Sime time late fit was raised in height, by about 60 centimetres, so an extra floor could be inserted in the loft. This part of the building has its gable to the road which runs along the western edge of the Denes, an expanse of sand dunes which has become covered in vegetation. The range consists of three floors. The loft floor was used for the inspection of drift nets and their repair, the work undertaken by women and girls. This was lit by skylights in the roof and floor-level windows, the nets usually being pulled onto the loft via the doorway on the gable. Trap doors in the floor allowed nets to be passed to the floor in the middle for storage. On the ground floor fish were prepared for smoking. The first part of the process was to place the fish in mounds which were then salted. After a period of a day or two they were rinsed in cold water and put into skewers for the smoke kiln. The main references for this part of the drawing were architects drawings and numerous interior photographs of similar buildings in use, supplied by my client and then interpreted through sketches. The latter can be seen in the album dedicated to the Lowestoft project on my photostream.

Rod Hunt was commissioned by Instinct BBDO to illustrate their new Russian campaign for IKEA. A huge illustration of ten different families & their appartments was required to represent IKEA furniture solutions suited to each family's lifestyles. The illustrations were used in the book written by Russian Children's author Grigory Oster & as an online game.

After hitting the top of last year’s Christmas book charts, Stig makes like a rock star with his very own World Tour
While the pressures of global notoreity take their toll on lesser mortals, The Stig remains mysteriously unaffected. Maybe because it’s only tyre pressures that ever trouble him. Maybe it’s because he’s not actually mortal.
Either way, as the gospel of Top Gear reaches ever further around a world already slightly wary of thre middle-aged men with bad hair and a penchant for wanton destruction, our monochrome motorhead keeps a watchful eye on his hapless chums.
Time to search them all out again, then. From the European hotspots of Monaco or Rome to the distant towers and jungles of the Americas, from the sun, sea, sand and, er, more sand of Australia, to the sun, sea, sand and slightly sticky pavements of Blackpool, the boys are making a very public mess of it. The Stig, meanwhile, is maintaining a typically low profile. Magnifying glasses at the ready…
Saint Augustine, being the oldest city has some beautiful old buildings that have been converted into shops and parkways...I love the gnarly look of them myself...they are mostly old, but functional.
