Fascinating, intense and dizzying watching hundreds of Puffins trying to outwit the Gulls when coming back to the burrows...Isle of May...great to see so many with a good catch.

MacLeod's Path, Isle of May - if it looks cold, let me assure you it was. A strong wind, little sun and about 4 degrees maximum. The birds had abandoned the island having been there in large numbers 2 days before. Hopefully they have now returned.

The Guillemot is a member of the Auk family and can be seen on the coastal cliffs around the UK and beyond.
A bit rough on the east of the Isle of May.
