Das Foto zeigt Erich Wuttke, Brigadeführer beim VEB Traktorenwerk Schönebeck, beim Umrunden Rügens mit dem Surfbrett. Für seine heldenhaften Leistungen wurde er vom Staatsratsvorsitzenden mit der Ernst-Thälmann-Medaille ausgezeichnet.

Ever since i saw the Arvo Brothers' masterpiece, i knew that this will be my ultimate lego goal - to build my own version based on the IronMan suit from the movies!
I tried for couple of years, using LDD, to build the visor-face properly and when i managed it, it was only matter of couple of months to complete it.
Now my plan is to extend it by building the whole chest piece with a glowing arc reactor in the middle!
2nd session. I enhanced some features to my clients "heart". (Sorry about the redness. Skin gets irritated sometimes)

I'm not a fan of Marvel comics, but attracted by many 1:1 ironman figures in the Expo.

Ironman Triathlon
Ironman Triathlon is one of a series of long-distance triathlon races organized by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) consisting of a 2.4-mile (3.86 km) swim, a 112-mile (180.25 km) bike and a marathon (26 miles 385 yards, 42.195 km) run, raced in that order and without a break. Most Ironman events have a strict time limit of 17 hours to complete the race, where the Ironman race starts at 7 AM, the mandatory swim cut off for the 2.4 mile swim is 2 hours 20 minutes, the bike cut off time is 5:30 PM, and all finishers must complete their marathon by midnight.
Nowadays, there is an international circuit of Ironman events covering various destinations in the world, such as the United States, Canada, China, Austria, Brazil, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, South Africa, France and Japan.
The event is carried out in Brazil since 1982 and since 2001, is held in Florianopolis with start on the Jurere beach. Every year, around 1,000 athletes (Brazilians and foreigners) participate.

It's a good thing that Ironmen don't rust. The weather conditions at this year's Ironman Wales was appalling.
