He does a mean robot impression and his robot dance moves are out of this world. The red-head I mean. What is that you say? They're both red-heads? Well you figure out which one is the robot :)
Thanks to so_photos for helping out with the brown patch! (If any of you notice a big brown patch on the right bottom quadrant of this photo, please let me know.) Squished eyeballs or a bad computer screen are taking its toll on me. But maybe my computer itself heard my cribbing, coz yesterday night, it chose to crash! Yeah, that heap of metal and silicon died out on me! Argh. I'm so happy!

I figure iRobot won't mind the mention, even if these spider guys are totally FREE to all home owners within their extensive range, and do an absolute bang up job grabbing all the bugs who come to their webs.
That's how this one got my attention. Too GOOD at its work, for my tastes! I WANT to see those bugs...and while ALIVE, preferably!! The photos are so much nicer that way... :D
We have a screen room which by the natural way of it, often has a bug or two fly in as we go in and out. This spider was one of many of its species that wants to stake out MY bug hunting grounds. Relocated to (NEARLY) as good an area!
I can't hardly believe I haven't shot one of these for my yard list on iNaturalist, but??? Happy Arachtober to me...it's NEW. :)

The Rose Centre for Earth and Space at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. What I had originally conceived of as an iconic scientific tool evolved into a 'cosmic cathedral', an intensely memorable spatial experience that is intended to awe and inspire visitors and to expand their understanding of the wonders of our universe."

I sure do loves me that 400mm lens. It's about as manual as a cavfeman's club, weighs as much, basically the same size, and now that I think about it, is hardy enough to be used for caveman-type close combat. I digress.

Actually she was getting the Scooba (mopping robot) ready to go. But the other version would make more a better story for the mystical grandkids. I have no idea what happened with the focus on this shot. I'm mainly posting it to show that no matter how much camera technology I surround myself with I still manages to get poorly focused shots!
