Quaiser Khalid, Commissioner of Police Railways Mumbai is an officer of the Indian Police Service. He is a 1997 batch IPS officer having wide experience in law and order management, crime control, anti-insurgency operations, mega city policing, traffic management, Human Resource Management, etc He has been trained in India and abroad especially at Charles Stuart University, Australia and University College of London. He is a noted Public Speaker and has taken many sessions on Motivation, Career Counselling, Security, Police Work, Etc. He is also a poet of Urdu and Hindi languages. He has written two anthologies of Urdu poetry, consisting of ghazals and nazms, and is the recipient of the Maharashtra State Urdu Sahitya Academy Award.

Shri Kishore Jha, an IPS officer is currently in charge Director General of Police Tripura. Shri Kishore Jha, IPS belongs to the 1982 Batch of the Manipur Tripura Cadre. Since his joining the Tripura part of the cadre in 1984 after the basic training, Shri Kishore Jha has worked in various capacities in the state and in central organizations.
Our final day of the trip will be spent enjoying the sun and sand of a small Fijian island.

FREETOWN, mar (IPS) - En el cuarto piso de un nuevo edificio de oficinas en el occidente de Freetown, Cecil Williams se sienta bajo afiches de idílicos paisajes tropicales mientras habla de las muchas bellezas naturales que otrora atraían a los turistas a Sierra Leona.
"Muy pocos países tienen montañas con el mar a sus pies, con hermosas playas impolutas", dice a IPS. "Sierra Leona está a la espera de ser explorada".
Williams es presidente del Consejo Nacional de Turistas, y se encarga de resucitar una industria que antaño fue fuente de empleo y ganancias para este país de África occidental.
En otras circunstancias, su empleo no debería haber sido difícil. La franja costera de Sierra Leona, con sus playas de blancas arenas, no tiene par en la región.
De hecho, tal es la belleza de una playa cercana a la capital, que antes de la guerra se la usaba como imagen de fondo para una publicidad de los chocolates Bounty que ofrecía al consumidor "saborear el paraíso".
Hay playas a lo largo de buena parte de los 360 kilómetros de franja costera atlántica del país, la mayoría de ellas ajenas al turismo.
