I took this using my phone, I was on a walk around with my zoom lens a the time, i had left the wide-angle at home so resorted to my phone, while t it may be overexposed in areas the contrast between the clouds and the wheat crop was quite incredible.

This reminds me of the movie K-pex. Unlike in the movie, the dog remained on earth!

I want fall so badly, and this picture symbolizes it. Its my all time favorite time of the year and i'm super excited to take pictures in it since i've only had my camera for a few months.

 

For most of you, you may think that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day. Every day that has been Friday the 13th has been a very good day for me.

My mom said it was because my dad was born on Friday the 13th.

 

I even aced all of my tests and found 10 dollars in the lunchroom today.

  

It was freezing as you can tell.

The Hawker Siddeley Nimrod R1 is a signals intelligence (reconnaissance) aircraft formerly operated by the Royal Air Force. The aircraft was a conversion of the existing Nimrod maritime patrol aircraft, with all of the electronic equipment and armament optimised for anti-submarine and anti-ship warfare, and search and rescue, replaced by equipment for the gathering of communications intelligence and electronic intelligence.

 

XW665 served with 51 Sqn alongside XW664, XW666 and XV249.

 

The airframe was grounded on 27th October 2010 at RAF Waddington where she was later scrapped in the summer of 2011. Thankfully the front fuselage was saved and sold to the Tecknik Museum in Sinsheim, Germany. XW665 was delivered to the museum in August of that same year and was put into a storage yard.
