I took this using my phone, I was on a walk around with my zoom lens a the time, i had left the wide-angle at home so resorted to my phone, while t it may be overexposed in areas the contrast between the clouds and the wheat crop was quite incredible.

Looking for curiosities in the landscape - found this one which sparks an idea of letters in the landscape (from above)

I'm soooo looking forward to the long weekend. I should of had the whole of this week off but not a chance!

Also just experimenting a bit with some dark tones to add some variation into my stream.

Vue du portail et du clocher de l'église.

L'église monolithe, connue pour être la seconde plus grande église monolithe au monde, la flèche de son clocher culmine à 68 mètres. Elle est classée monument historique en 1886/1907.

En 1999, toute la juridiction de Saint-Émilion, dont l'église monolithe, est inscrite au Patrimoine mondial par l'UNESCO.
