ENG: The Leipzig Central Station is the city's most central passenger station and ranks 13th among Deutsche Bahn's busiest long-distance stations with around 120,000 travelers and visitors every day. The rail hub and terminus station with 23 platform tracks, 22 of which are used for passenger traffic, is one of the 21 stations in the highest price category of DB Station&Service. With a covered area of 83,640 square meters, it is the largest terminus station in Europe in terms of area. Another highlight is the façade of the reception building facing the city center, which is 298 meters wide. The now historic main station was built and opened on December 4, 1915.

GER: Der Leipziger Hauptbahnhof ist der zentralste Personenbahnhof der Stadt und steht mit täglich rund 120 000 Reisenden und Besuchern auf Platz 13 der meistfrequentierten Fernbahnhöfe der Deutschen Bahn. Der Eisenbahnknoten und Kopfbahnhof mit 23 Bahnsteiggleisen, von denen 22 im Reiseverkehr genutzt werden, gehört zu den 21 Bahnhöfen der höchsten Preisklasse von DB Station&Service. Er ist mit einer überdachten Grundfläche von 83.640 Quadratmetern der flächenmäßig größte Kopfbahnhof Europas. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Fassade des Empfangsgebäudes zur Innenstadt hin, diese ist 298 Meter breit. Erbaut und eröffnet wurde der heute historische Hauptbahnhof am 04. Dezember 1915.
I came across these rather downtrodden looking horses yesterday on a local walk. They were friendly though and both allowed me to treat them to a nose scratch which seemed to go down quite well with them!
ENG: The Church of St. Marien in Stralsund is a three-nave church with a transept, western pseudo transept, choir gallery and chapel wreath. The basilica on the Neuer Markt was first mentioned in 1298. It is the largest parish church in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. The church is considered a masterpiece of the late Gothic period in Central Europe. From 1549 until its destruction by lightning in 1647 of its Gothic peak, which according to an unsecured tradition was 151 metres high, it was allegedly the tallest building in the world. It is also located in the core area of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Historic Old Towns of Stralsund and Wismar.
A little tip:
From the 104-metre-high tower of St. Mary's Church there is a wonderful view over Stralsund, the surrounding area and Rügen.
GER: Die St.-Marien-Kirche in Stralsund ist eine dreischiffige Kirche mit Querhaus, westlichem Pseudoquerhaus, Chorumgang und Kapellenkranz. Die Basilika am Neuen Markt wurde im Jahr 1298 erstmals erwähnt. Sie ist die größte Pfarrkirche der Hansestadt Stralsund. Das Gotteshaus gilt als ein Meisterwerk der Spätgotik im mitteleuropäischen Raum. Es war von 1549 bis zur Zerstörung seiner damaligen, nach ungesicherter Überlieferung 151 Meter hohen gotischen Spitze durch Blitzschlag 1647 angeblich das weltweit höchste Bauwerk. Sie steht ebenfalls im Kernbereich des von der UNESCO als Weltkulturerbe anerkannten Stadtgebietes des Kulturgutes Historische Altstädte Stralsund und Wismar.

Vom 104 Meter hohen Turm der Marienkirche bietet sich ein wunderbarer Blick über Stralsund, die Umgebung und Rügen.
Sunrise on a cloudy morning which gives an illusion that sun is setting into the clouds !
When viewed upside down/ inverted,the image of sun gives an illusion that sunrise occurring from clouds and the earth/land is above! Either way it’s an actual morning sun which is setting into the clouds!
