The sun rise and set regardless! Whatever we do when the sun rises, we just have to make the best out of it. Time waits for no one! Here is Sunrise at Marina Bay! Wish you a great day ahead!

Here is another image for the weekend! I took this while in Singapore. The scenery around the reservoir was already superb especially with the nice looking jetty, I didn't have to do much except pulling out my iPhone to snap! :)

This was taken last weekend at a park in Ile-de-France, the clouds were moving in fast.

This was in Singapore during national day celebration in August last year. The weather was not particularly good; covered with low clouds and poor visibility. This picture was taken with my iPhone 6 Plus. What do you think? Let me know your comments! :)

There are many ways to salvation, and one of them is to follow a river. — (David Brower)

Not all sunrises can be seen, this one in particular was hiding behind thick cloud from where I stood. As I looked back I realized part of the city was already basking in the morning sun! Creating a splendid scene for a cityscape shot! What do you think?

The Brandenburg Gate (German: Brandenburger Tor) is an 18th-century neoclassical triumphal arch in Berlin, and one of the best-known landmarks of Germany. It is built on the site of a former city gate that marked the start of the road from Berlin to the town of Brandenburg an der Havel.

It was a cloudy day filled with drizzle all over Paris. This picture was taken from the roof top of Galleries Lafayette with iPhone 6 Plus and post-processed with snapspeed. Comments are welcome! :)

It was raining heavily but I was in the mood for photography. Undeterred by the weather I went photo hunting at Marina Barrage Singapore. Just when I reached, the rain stops and this is what I got of the Lion City amidst the rain. What do you think?

This photo was taken using iPhone 6 Plus at Marina Bay, Singapore. It was a sunrise shot. The letters "dream" provided a great setting for this picture and I filtered it with a glowing effect much like me dreaming most of the time. :p what do you think?

The greatest challenge for iPhone camera is on night scenes. I have tried many different scenes but rarely successful mainly due to the lack of long exposure feature. However one pic stands out from the many failures. What do you think of this image?

As a phoneographer I don't carry a tripod, but the best angle to capture this waterfall requires one, so I held my iPhone firmly in my hand took a deep breath and "froze" for 4 sec! What do you think of the outcome? Do I deserve a fave for the effort?

Beautiful moments can happen at the most unsuspecting time! This sunset shot was taken at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park, Singapore on a cloudy drizzling day. I was crazy enough to go when it was still raining, and I was rewarded for being crazy I guess!

This is my very first posting on Flickr (29/12/2015)!

The beauty of a Siegessäule sunset lingers on with the dancing clouds and the majestic statue.

I waited for ages for the birds to come back to the feeders, as they fly away when they see a camera. In the end, I got the nuthatch. iPhone 6 plus.Focal Length:63 mm (35mm eq.)

Tucson Mountains to the east viewed through the afternoon haze from the Catalina foothills. I enjoyed framing the view with the trees and the fence.

As you can see, some trees are beginning to turn yellow. My pomegranate trees are now yellow. I should photograph them before the leaves fall...;) This year's fall color is a month later than last year. Probably due to the climate warming pattern we're seeing.

I'm happy that this made it into Flickr's Explore. I was banned for some time, I believe the ban was for using borders in my mosaic shots. Flickr has started removing that ban, through the efforts of Saffron Blaze. Thank you Saffron!!!!

In 1986, the city dedicated the Friendship Archway, a traditional Chinese gate designed by Alfred H. Liu, a local architect and chairman of the Chinatown Development Corporation, who emigrated from Taiwan to the United States as a teenager. The colorful, US$1 million work of public art includes seven roofs up to 60 feet high, 7000 tiles, and 272 painted dragons in the style of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Erected to celebrate friendship with Washington's sister city of Beijing, it was hoped the arch would reinforce the neighborhood's Chinese character. According to the plaque next to the arch, it is the largest such single-span archway in the world. In 1993, the Friendship Archway underwent a major renovation funded by D.C. and Chinese governments. Artisans from China performed extensive repairs on the archway and repainted its decorations.[3]

In 1986, the Metro station was given its present name: Gallery Place-Chinatown. The city constructed the Wah Luck House apartments at 6th and H Streets, NW, to accommodate the displaced residents in 1982. Designed by architect Alfred Liu, the apartment building introduced modern Chinese design motifs due to the red-paneled balconies.[4] The MCI Center was completed in 1997 (renamed Verizon Center in 2006). After the construction of the Verizon Center, AsianWeek said in 2000 that the neighborhood "barely" remains.[5]
