Those who know me well in this gallery know that I am not a fan of “mobile” phones and that I even have difficulty using my iPhone in all its possibilities…
That said, I am open to all progress made in photography and regardless of the device used!
Just recently, I learned from a friend across the Channel that Apple recently commissioned multidisciplinary artist and National Geographic photographer Reuben Wu to present the Cupertino giant's new flagship smartphone, the iPhone 15 Pro Max !
The iPhone 15 Pro can shoot ProRAW at up to 48 megapixels, resulting in a RAW DNG file that can be worked with to create the “final images”!
Wu, also uses the phone's night mode, which allows him to shoot exposures of up to 30 seconds on a tripod !
He would feel the same feeling of ecstasy taking the photo with an iPhone camera as he would on a larger mirrorless or DSLR system 🤔
The iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max are claimed to be not as easy to use as any other iPhone, they also include some exciting new exclusive features, such as new 28mm and 35mm lens options and what not. Wu calls it a truly fantastic photo editing experience thanks to iOS and the iPhone's beautiful screens !!!
Wu's new images were printed up to 60 inches wide and installed in New York, then projected on giant screens on Apple's Champs-Élysées in Paris !
So will I reconcile myself with the IOS system and be able to leave my collection of Nikon cameras and optics in my library to shoot only with this iPhone, the price of which I don't even know and which I have never tried ?
I will keep you informed of the rest but would however like to tell you that I was frankly surprised by the news from my friend and the latest iPhone from the “Apple” brand !
This beautiful hollyhock was fallen down to gras.
Beautiful, isn´t it?

An impressive 19th Century copy of the famous Leonardo Da Vinci - The Last Supper. I was invited to go up behind the altar to get some closer shots, what I found fascinating was the 3D effect of the artist of this wonderful artwork.

I wasn’t able to attend a demonstration yesterday, but I was heartened to see the turnout on TV and this demonstration at the corner of El Camino Real and Encinitas Blvd. in Encinitas.

“Here I sit. I’m 13-years-old. I think I want something, but I just can’t think of what it is I want. The hollow sound blowing through my ears is probably distracting me. I guess I’ll just sit here and meow obnoxiously until someone figures out what it is I want, even though I can’t think of what it is myself. That will prevent me from straining my brain by doing things like thinking.” 🤔
Butler railway station at the start of Spring.
The plume of smoke is from 'back burning' along the Wanneroo Road. Perth, Western Australia and has nothing to do with the Railway Station..
It was while I was taking this photo that two Republic of Singapore F-15SG (RSAF) fighters 'beat-up' Butler. flying at about 1000 ft. Very loud and very, very naughty...
