Impressive camera on this new iPhone. It handles detail, color balance, and distortion really well. Depth is good. A little soft, could be sharper. On video, the new action mode is awesome but requires a lot of light. But in general the phone performs best in well lit situations.
Just simple candid street style Snap captured of guy with his saxophone doing a bit of street playing.

Riserva Naturale - Punta Aderci
And now for something completely different: This is the view from the chancel facing the congregation during children's sermon time at the beginning of a Christmas Eve Holy Communion service at College Lutheran Church in Salem, Va. I was the assisting minister and just happen to have my iPhone underneath my alb and caught a view most folks don't get to see. 鲰24 John M. Hudson | jmhudson1.com

I shot this photo in Jasper, on a trail re-opened after the forest first that ravaged the region in July 2024.
The aurora varied in intensity depending on the time, and on the direction one was looking. Here the "curtain" effect in the green afrea is just beginning to take shape. Shot in Apple RAW mode on an iPhone 15 Pro Max. ©2024 | John M. Hudson

This is the smaller station at Brig for the narrow gauge line between St Moritz and Zermatt. This incredible route is very picturesque but fascinating in that the train adds in coaches and removes them at different sections of the route. A beautiful restaurant rail car gets added in as well I believe. (This may have changed in recent times, as it is a few years since we did the full route.)
It is interesting that although called an express train it is one of the slowest in the world!!
You cannot often get to areas of the railway network to capture shots like this.
Here is a crossing from Brig town to the main railway station when trains come up from Italy and beyond to transit through Brig and Switzerland.
Getting down low gives a nice and different view of the tracks close up. (Shot taken on iPhone 15 Pro Max.)
Interesting reflections in the lefthand rail track of the red and white parts of the train locomotive.
The rain clouds make their presence known, turning everything gray.
A simple cityscape picture, taken before it began to rain.

To the credit of Apple and the 5 x telephoto lens on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, this is a close up using the telephoto lens of the big suspension bridge in Rovaniemi taken in low light at night.(21:21 hours on the 20th February)
(I took with me on the trip my Nikon D750 but with only a wide angle lens so not any good to get a reach shot like this. This was to be my aurora borealis shot with the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens.)
Image processed in Lightroom Classic and Nik Collection Silver EFEX Pro 6 to convert to mono. Also put it through Topaz to de-noise and sharpen.

Artichoke flower.
I didn't realize how beautiful and delicate the flowers were when I allowed one of my home-grown artichokes to go to the flowering stage. The delicate mauve petals are covered with a dusting of white pollen and the greenish 'choke' is visible in the centre of the flower. Other interesting details can be seen at the largest size.

Of all the ICMs I took to date, this may be my favourite. My challenge is to repeat the movement I did to obtain this result.
The colour version is superb, but this black and white version is spectacular!
I shot this with the iPhone 15 Pro Max and processed this with Lightroom and finished it off with Mextures and Lightroom on the iPad.
