Original illustration by Bill Meyer. At age 45, I discovered accidentally that the lie I told myself from about age three that “I cannot draw” was not true. I mostly draw now for the entertainment of my 8 grandkids. My progress has been boosted by copying the “masters” of art and illustration. By magical I am reminiscing of my childhood in the 1950’s and early 60’s sitting by the record player at this time of year listening to Nat King Cole’s Christmas 33 rpm album, “The Magic of Christmas.”
On the far right of the church is the children’s building and the B&W sculpture in my previous photo posting stands around the corner. I took this picture standing in the doorway of the office building where I work (when not working at my home office or off on photography journeys!
