The Welwyn Viaduct, also called Digswell Viaduct, carries the East Coast Line Railway over the River Mimram. Designed by William Cubbit, it was originally opened by Queen Victoria, 6 August 1850 who was said to be so frightened of the height she refused to travel across the viaduct.

The viaduct is around 1,560ft (475m) long and comprises forty arches of 30ft (9.1m) span, and is 100ft (30m) high.

While biking from work to home, I saw this beautiful fog. Further on I came in this fog and the temperature dropped from 12 to 4 degrees. I wasn't prepared for that with my shorts and no gloves. Still more than half an hour in that cold until home. brrrrr

Woke up to some thick fog on Saturday morning. Sadie and I loaded up a couple of cameras and chased the fog for a good hour and a half. This was as we were heading out down our road.
