Our sixth and final concept sketch is of the Navigator. A pilot's pilot. He doesn't fly a ship, he wears it.

Butter-Bot’s final moments and thoughts. There is an anomaly in the program. "Blade” was the 23rd prompt. Butter knives are blades enough. #marchofrobots #marchofrobots2019 #procreate #ipadpro #digitalart #sad #blade #knife #butter #robot #butterknife
Since 1755, when it was a coaching inn, there has been a pub on this site, quenching the thirst of travellers moving to and from the coast. Lord Nelson himself was said to have stayed here in his way to Portsmouth!
By the mid-1900s it had become the somewhat avant-garde Fleur de lys bar, set right across the road from Winchester's then-famous red light district.
Perhaps better known now, the pub became a landmark thanks to the late Graeme Jameson, considered by many to be the perfect landlord. His astonishing collection of bric-a-brac still adorns the walls of the pub today.

... until I decided to simplify the doodle and make the person out of the "2" and help it to read a little easier.
This started as two pink angel trumpet flowers. Now definitely gold metallic and burnt earthen red glossless glaze

There’s a brand new coffee place opening up in Denton called Golden Boy. Chris alerted us this morning so we all went out to explore. It’s in its soft opening right now, but the place is promising! They’ve got great coffee and decent baked goods right now. The guy working there said they plan to serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, turning into a bar at night. Sounds promising! We’ll definitely have to revisit and see how things roll out.
In our newfound explorative state, we tried out the new ramen place for lunch. It’s called Kurume and you’ll find it on 288 between Leslie’s Pool Supplies and the Honey Baked Ham place. What a location! Despite the weird positioning, the place was great! The ramen there is more flavorful than Hanabi, PLUS they have an array of fun table gimmicks, like fresh garlic cloves you can squish into your meal, a sesame seed grinder, and other things. What a fun joint! We’ll be back.
I spent much of my work day downloading iPad apps and organizing the ones I already had. I also went through our Fall Ad script (and Chris hand-drawn storyboards) and redrew the storyboards on my iPad. Now we have a digital version of them! I also figured out that if I’m pencil drawing on there I can do shading just like you’d do with a regular pencil. That thing is seriously cool.
This afternoon we met with Angilee over at USB to flesh out the Fall Ad and get some guidance before we show it to KR. She’s into it! So far it’s looking like the video is gonna be real cool. I know we’re back in that honeymoon phase of video production before it gets ground up and turned to poop, but I’m gonna continue to assume that this one will get to be awesome to the end. I mean, it worked out with the croissant video, didn’t it? Fingers crossed!
