The iPencil's completely round barrel means it rolls away the moment you set it down. After looking at commercial options to keep it secured to my iPad Pro, such as $40 magnetic pouches; I decided on a cheaper, more homegrown approach.
The Norwegian Museum of Science and Technology has a really cool Flickr feed. The shot I used as the basis for this study is from a set of images highlighting the brutalist architecture of the swimming pool of the town of Bodø.

While I was drawing this, a group of uncles (taxi drivers having their tea break) sat at a table beside mine and talked so loudly I had muffled hearing later. But I found their conversation fascinating so I tried recording some of it.
