Seen in the Rose Labyrinth a themed garden within the walled garden at Coughton Court.
The garden features a statue of Fair Rosamund, lover of King Henry II, who was allegedly poisoned in the labyrinth at Woodstock by the jealous Queen Eleanor. Rosamund is surrounded by several roses called Rosa Mundi.

Trying out the watercolor and pencil markers in new vector based iPad art app, Sketchology. One of the most interesting features of Sketchology is being able to zoom way in and out, while not becoming at all jaggy or pixelated. Unfortunately, that aspect of many pictures hiding within the overall picture cannot be shown in flickr, except a little bit with an example detail, as arranged here (this picture can be zoomed into much farther). It's not the only nifty iPad art app aspect that stays mostly on iPads, untransferable to the web.

First test with the new iPad. It is a totally different experience capture, process and upload to Flickr all from the same device!
Abstract doodled with Sketchology. Just playing around with some of the peculiarities of this new vector based iPad art app.
