As curitibanas Diabólica e Perigosa e a paulista Schornstein

Here is a nice easy drinking IPA from Widmer Brothers out of Portland.

6% ABV so you can have more than one. As long as you’re in your backyard like I was.

There are better IPA’s out there. Stone, Dogfish Head to name two. But this is an OK beer. I can’t remember drinking any of their other products but I might have to try some.

Have a nice week fellow beer drinkers.

Not to shabby of an IPA

FATEC - São José do Rio Preto

Outer dimensional/infrared effect on a bottle of Founder's Centennial IPA on the deck by the lake.

Thoughts: Similar to Long Trail Ale, a floral aroma. Hoppy and bitter as an IPA otta be. Unfiltered brew gives this a grainy, wheaty mouthfeel.

Verdict: An interesting IPA. I enjoyed the unfiltered texture.

Long Trail Limbo IPA

FATEC - São José do Rio Preto

This is no ordinary IPA. Our coarsely filtered India Pale Ale is loaded with grapefruit, orange peel and piney aromas from several kilos of different American hops. The pronounced bitterness hits the palate first and is delicately balanced with international specialty malts

Smuttynose "Finest Kind" IPA.

We bottled our Imperial IPA last night, it came in at 10 % ABV after 4 weeks in secondary on American Oak spirals. The brew used 1 full pound of hops, the majority of which were late additions. The grain bill was big enough to provide a backbone for the malt which gives good balace. I am really happy with the depth given to the beer from the oak. I can not wait for it to carb up and be ready to really enjoy, this will be one for the cellar.
