Casal d'origen medieval, datat al segle XV-XVI, que en origen hauria estat un antic hostal al camí de Valls. Es troba a la població de les Peces, un nucli situtat al nord-est a 2 km del municipi d'Albinyana, del qual depèn.
L'edifici consta de tres plantes. Als baixos destaca un potent contrafort situat a la banda esquerra de la porta d'accés, la qual presenta un arc de mig punt dovellat. El pis principal presenta diverses finestres i un rellotge de sol amb la data 1831. Les golfes tenen una sèrie de finestres d'arcs carpanells amb una línea d'impostes molt marcada.

What Chris was actually getting at, as elaborated upon in subsequent Tweets, is that what would have seemed a proper, unremarkable amount of bitterness in an IPA c.2010 has come to be regarded as high bitterness in this age of soft, sweet, fruit-juice-like beers, and therefore a bit retro. But, as it happens, we’ve used the term frequently to distinguish a particular type of IPA, of which some other examples are…
▶ Weak, brown, mid-20th-century IPA, e.g. Greene King.
▶ Pale, citrusy 1990s American-inspired IPA, e.g. St Austell Proper Job
▶ Hazy, sweet, oniony 21st century IPA, e.g. this lot. [In America, NE-style IPA]
These are all legitimate takes with verifiable lineage to the 19th-century original, even if it’s hard to see any family resemblance between GK IPA and a Cloudwater DIPA."

Ales brew at 60-75 degrees, lagers need to be kept colder. Mine will do its thing here in the hot water heater room to where it's warm and dark. As you can see on the side of the bucket, there's about 5.5 gallons (about 70 12oz bottles) of IPA for our enjoyment when it's ready in about 3 weeks!
