4 stacked 10 second exposures of comet C/2012 F6 (Lemmon), processed a bit and inverted to bring out some more detail.

A satellite streaked across a few of the exposures and passes in front of the comet's tail. The trail is broken because there are a few second between each exposure.

Trying Nebulosity, and it adds the lines in (unpaid) demo mode.

My first attempts at shooting and post processing smoke from insense sticks. I had been wanting to try this for a while and finally got around to having a go. Setup was pretty simple: setup a black backdrop, about 1ft infront of which was placed the insense holder with tripod mounted camera about 3ft from the insense stick. A snooted 430EX at 90 degrees from the lense axis provided lighting for the smoke plume. Set camera in manual, dimmed the lights and snapped away. Ended up with quite a few decent cadidates but only processed three so far and have a few tweeks to the setup planned for next time.

inverted tart (cherry tomato, black olive, basil)

One of the prettier presentations at Coi. It had pesto on the bottom, then cherry tomatoes, then a light tomato froth (made with a siphon), a black olive crisp/paper, and some basil micro greens. It was basically a twist on a caprese salad.

It's actually a drop of water from a plant hanging in our house, but I think an inverted mountain is a much cooler image.
