This is the original inverted, black and white gradient photo that inspired me to create a piece that had a more digital media and artistic tone. The paint on the subject's face was used because of the success I had while using it for my high key project. I also felt that photographing men would be an interesting change since I was not used to photographing men before this project. I have definitely learned a lot from this project editing and photographing-wise.

After being a little unhappy with the first version of this photo, a comment by Ubertino suggested that I change the white balance. This was a great idea and I gave it a try, and it resulted in a much more natural color tone, without the orange color of the lights dominating the picture.
