We knew about the dino tracks up near the trailhead, but we had no idea we were going to see an inverted (raised UP) dino track down along the wash until Blaine stood next to it and pointed it out. It was so cool!
Held at White Waltham Airfield to celebrate 75 years of flying there. There was an exhibition of ATA memorabilia. There were flying displays from a wide variety of aircraft including a Spitfire and Hurricane from the Battle of Britain Flight, and a visit from a Vampire.

Space is a bit tight all round in here, partly because we wanted the engine panel recessed, leaving less room for the inverter/charger behind it

Centrosome amplification, or a numerical increase in the microtubule organizing centers of the cell (shown in green), is common in human cancer, particularly more aggressive cancers. This phenomenon disrupts the microtubules (shown in red), part of the cell‰ŰŞs skeleton and highway system, resulting in error-prone cell divisions. This can lead to missegregation of chromosomes (shown in blue) and continual evolution of the cancer cell, leading the cancer to become more aggressive and resistant to therapy. Centrosome amplification is very specific to cancer and represents an intriguing therapeutic target to better treat aggressive cancers and prevent metastasis. In the lab, I am trying to find ways to target cells with centrosome amplification. This image was acquired from immunofluorescence imaging of fixed human cancer cell lines.
What: Inverted image of Sunset over Dunedin. Playing with photoshop bought this to my attention. I love the treatment on this image but have tried other images and do not like the results.
Another morning of experiments. I wanted to experiment and see what a lily would look like in colour. I inverted it to make it luminous and then worked on the colour.

Wiki: A spillway is a structure used to provide for the controlled release of flows from a dam or levee into a downstream area, typically being the river that was dammed. Spillways release floods so that the water does not overtop and damage or even destroy the dam.
I wasn't going to use this shot due to the pesky airplane flyby but when I cropped into it its neat to see it in the sphere and outside. This shot was also inverted.
Biomager Inc's inverted biological microscopes have been designed to be versatile, modular, ergonomic microscope systems ideal for use in biological, clinical or vet researchor educational labs.
All inverted microscopes have brightfield imaging capabilities. Some models come with Phase Contrast, darkfield/drak-field, and epi-fluorescence imaging modes to add/on or upgrade.
The biological inverted microscopes are well suited for live cell imaging, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) microscopy.
