tonight’s contemplation....

Just messing around with color, light, shadow, body parts . . . :)

As a teacher, I always had dice in my desk drawer for teaching probability. The only problem was that I could never find them. What are the odds? These dice were never in my desk. I bought them here in New Brunswick for shots like this. lol And, as Dirty Harry once said, "Are ya feelin' lucky, Punk? Well, are ya?" And, yeah before you jump all over me, I know that's a misquote.

Two different brands of coloured pencils. Stole this idea from Flickr contact Michelle, though I believe I may have tried this years ago. Getting a bit of cabin fever as winter wears down at a glacial pace.

Messy but full of ideas!!

Macarons with pistachios flavour...

Most of my recent shooting has been inside, due to the abundance of ice and snow in the area. Conditions are so bad in the woods, and peoples' yards, that deer have taken to walking down the middle of streets in small herds. It's almost impossible to walk on the snow and ice, so it's understandable. I have a bunch of coloured pencils that I've collected as props over the years. These are some of them. A little colour for the long winter.

minha ferramenta principal ! ando sempre com ela, para riscar fotos em mesas de bar [o problema é entrar em Banco e ter que explicar que isso é um instrumento de trabalho e não uma arma mortífera ninja]

It's almost St. Patrick's Day, so, to start us off, I offer this simple shamrock.

Her only window is like an echo of the only window in Cezanne's studio in Aix-en-Provence.
