"What fuels you? What gives you strength? What makes things in your life work? It’s a literal, but also a philosophical question. This week for Flickr Friday! we want to see your photographic interpretation of ‘Power’. "
This is my ongoing series in showing what energizes me: a walk in forests with my husband, or alone. In nature. With camera.
Lucky to catch two bees of unknown variety to me. On perhaps a gaillardia flower. A friend had plants she called Arizona Apricot or Arizona Sun. Certainly attracted bees. Must research bees next.
(As shot, except for crop. I generally only de-saturate.)
I'm starting to venture a little further from home and picking up a camera again. Here, we visited a garden center to look for Hostas and came across three ladies tucked into the shadows among the flowers with easel and water colors in hand. It was such a tranquil scene. The name of the garden center was Earth Bound and this lady, as finely attuned to her surroundings as only an artist could be, certainly fit into that theme. She graciously gave me permission to take the photo.
This chalk art artist was so tuned into her work and music that everyone around was completely tuned out!

A wide angle photo of totality taken along the Snake River on the OR/ID border. This is a composite of seven exposures: 4s, 2s, 1s, 1/2s, 1/4s, 1/8s, 1/15s.
Of course, I took a telescope for a closer view, too ... and yes, I have a square crop.
This one will be interesting to watch the hits based on some of the tags alone ... ( O . o )
