Rena gets kibble in the morning after her wet food which is not at all as exciting as kibble. I forgot with company in the house and when I went in her room there she was, waiting patiently where it was supposed to appear.
(Happy Caturday theme: "In the light")
(P. S. We've had a great two weeks of children home visiting and health problems continue, but I want so much to be back on Flickr. Oct. is a new month and a good one for all of us I'm sure.)
there is the place ???

Show me the place, where you want your slave to go
Show me the place, I've forgotten I don't know
Show me the place where my head is bend and low
Show me the place, where you want your slave to go
Show me the place, help me roll away the stone
Show me the place, I can't move this thing alone
Show me the place where the word became a man
Show me the place where the suffering began
The troubles came I saved what I could save
A shred of light, a particle away
But there were chains so I hastened to the hay
There were chains, a lot of chains
Like a spade................
This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "In the Light".
I know, it's been a few weeks since I've posted a picture of Noah... he keeps running from the paparazzi! :)
Elijah on the other hand is more than willing to pose next to one of his new pumpkins in the sunlight. It even has "Salem" on it. :)
Next week I will be starting a new round of chemo. I can no longer get the immunotherapy treatments since it caused my breathing to be so labored. I'm not sure if I will be able to post new photos in the next several weeks. I was told that one treatment will be like getting three treatments all at once. I am hoping that since I did so good with the last round of chemo that I will not have any problems with these next two.
On the lighter side... I have been so happy with my 2 1/2 inches of hair... and now it's more than likely going to fall back out. 😬 I wonder if I can find one of those knitted hats with the long tail like I used to have as a kid in the 70's?! That should keep me warm with this cooler weather coming. ;)
This year I was able to attend the excellent "Electric Glen" event held in Rouken Glen Park in Glasgow. This was my second time there and it just seems to get better every time I go :)

Gladiolus communis subsp. byzantinus
These magenta spires stud the olive groves in the Mediterranean. Known as 'Whistling Jack' in Cornwall and the Scilly Isles where it is also naturalised.
I caught this one in the sunlight in my garden. I don't particularly like them, as they seem to seed themselves where they are not wanted, but I have decided to embrace them and see their beauty.
... on such an occasion (and several others) you realize that it pays to use a small lens so you can shoot with one hand, and never to have the lens cap on (as you will most likely miss the moment)!

Shining down - Shafts of light shining down and spilling through a gap in the clouds perfectly silhouetting a straight row of trees at the foot of Pendle Hill on an otherwise overcast morning. Ribble Valley, Lancashire
