I cannot begin to tell you the wonder that is Miggs. To describe their music and all that went down the other night is almost impossible. Over the next two days between classes and sleep I'm going to try.
Here we were happily interrupted by a group of fans that have been traveling to shows all over the place to see this California based band play, for reference we are in Charlotte, NC at the time of this photo.
Every person in this photo that is male is in Miggs, except the very centered young man. Just you wait, to all my faithful friends and readers you are in for a real treat, think this was one of the best photo shoots I've had in a seriously long time and one of those bands I am still ogling over and listening to this very moment.
I'm on photo 412 out of 750 of theirs in photo post and plan on having a nice sized gallery up soon. Complete with the concert photos, two part piece on the band (interview and then review) and I hope that all of you out there will read, enjoy, give feedback and then immediately run out to listen to this band, and if you like what you hear grab up a CD from Miggsor something, send an email tell them what the music does, and if you can see them live, run don't walk!

Received in my office this morning Alina Grishkevich, Political Analyst with Belarusian News Agency (Belta). I talked in details about the criminal activities carried out by ISIS in Iraq and the war the Iraqi Government is leading against them with the support of the International Community. The purpose of the meeting which was requested by me was to expose to the Belarusian public the ISIS atrocities in Iraq and Syria with an important fact that what is happening in Iraq and the crime which are committed by ISIS in the name of Islam has nothing today with it as Islam as we know it is a religion of Peace, Forgiveness and Respect.
At the end of the meeting I asked of the Belarusian media to expose the crimes committed and still committed by ISIS against humanity and mankind and it is very important that we all should work together because what ISIS is doing is not only dangerous for Iraq and Syria but for the whole world is not tackled now. I also talked about Iraq-Belarus Bilateral Relations and the recent visit of Belarus Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei. I invited through the Belarusian media all Belarusian businesspeople to visit Iraq in order to explore the business opportunities available.
One of the highlights of SXSW Day 6 (Wednesday, March 13) was attending the SXSW Interview with Depeche Mode. Unfortunately, there was a very long queue for the event, and I ended up getting seats toward the back of the room. The combination of my iPhone's poor zoom capabilities and the overly bright stage lighting resulted in rather blurry, washed-out pics. Seated from left to right are interviewer Jason Bentley, Martin Gore, Dave Gahan, and Andrew Fletcher. I have an interview at art school for a place on the foundation course.
But now the hard part - getting a portfolio together. What does a portfolio look like in this context? What do i put in it? Any and all advice very welcome....
oh, and I started a set for possibilities (copying brendadada ) which shows you where I'm starting from.... but I am currently hating everything!
