Kendra being interviewed on the streets by Syracuse University film students. We were walking back towards our cars when they stopped us. I volunteered Kendra and she did awesome. I stood back and took pictures.

In order for the InSTEDD iLab SEA to create solutions that solve the problems these health workers face, it's important to first understand the situation. In this photo, InSTEDD's Technical Project Manager Mr. Rum Sokha conducts an interview with some VCCT staff in Anglong Vil in the Consultation Room by asking questions such as "Do you know how to use computer? Do you have consistent electricity? Do you have a reliable internet connection? How do you feel about transitioning from a paper to a computer system?"
Received in my office this morning Alina Grishkevich, Political Analyst with Belarusian News Agency (Belta). I talked in details about the criminal activities carried out by ISIS in Iraq and the war the Iraqi Government is leading against them with the support of the International Community. The purpose of the meeting which was requested by me was to expose to the Belarusian public the ISIS atrocities in Iraq and Syria with an important fact that what is happening in Iraq and the crime which are committed by ISIS in the name of Islam has nothing today with it as Islam as we know it is a religion of Peace, Forgiveness and Respect.
At the end of the meeting I asked of the Belarusian media to expose the crimes committed and still committed by ISIS against humanity and mankind and it is very important that we all should work together because what ISIS is doing is not only dangerous for Iraq and Syria but for the whole world is not tackled now. I also talked about Iraq-Belarus Bilateral Relations and the recent visit of Belarus Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei. I invited through the Belarusian media all Belarusian businesspeople to visit Iraq in order to explore the business opportunities available.

I cannot begin to tell you the wonder that is Miggs. To describe their music and all that went down the other night is almost impossible. Over the next two days between classes and sleep I'm going to try.
Here we were happily interrupted by a group of fans that have been traveling to shows all over the place to see this California based band play, for reference we are in Charlotte, NC at the time of this photo.
Every person in this photo that is male is in Miggs, except the very centered young man. Just you wait, to all my faithful friends and readers you are in for a real treat, think this was one of the best photo shoots I've had in a seriously long time and one of those bands I am still ogling over and listening to this very moment.
I'm on photo 412 out of 750 of theirs in photo post and plan on having a nice sized gallery up soon. Complete with the concert photos, two part piece on the band (interview and then review) and I hope that all of you out there will read, enjoy, give feedback and then immediately run out to listen to this band, and if you like what you hear grab up a CD from Miggsor something, send an email tell them what the music does, and if you can see them live, run don't walk!

Es war an der Züspa (Herbstmesse in Zürich). Damals hatten ja noch alle Radiostationen ihre Studios dort und veranstalteten Specials für das Publikum. Am Stand meiner späteren Arbeitgeberin Radio 24 war Herbert Grönemeyer zu Gast, er wurde dort live interviewt. Tja, und als das Interview für ein Lied unterbrochen wurde und der Moderator und Gröni so still da sassen, da nahm ich (damals 16jährig und langhaarig) allen Mut zusammen, ging aufs Podium und bat Grönemeyer um ein Autogramm ins Booklet seiner neuen CD 'Chaos', die erst kurz davor veröffentlicht worden war. Herbert war so nett und erfüllte mir den Wunsch. Während dem Unterschreiben fragte er mich, wie mir die Platte gefalle. "Gut", sagte ich, "besser als die letzte, jetzt hat's endlich wieder mehr Gitarren drauf!"
Ich war übrigens der Eisbrecher: nach mir standen plötzlich viele andere Grönemeyer-Fans Schlange, um ebenfalls ein Autogramm zu erhaschen...
