Busy day in Manchester Today. First a protest by Unison, then an interview by MusicMagpie on the street.
This is a project that is very personal to me. With a goal to reflect about things in my life by going beyond my comfort zone and understanding todays world view through the life stories of others.
I will this time not only interview strangers but also people I know to have a larger scope of interviews.
Hope you enjoy it.

26 year old musician living in Burkina Faso. His favorite color is black and his favorite food is beans.
His dream is to be a music sensation, and if he had to describe himself in two words it would be "Artist" and "Craftsman".
I asked him what his best childhood memory was, he said: "I studied at first, but then decided to leave school when I was 17 for the sake of music." His worst memory is when he was separated from his parents. I then asked him if he could develop on this subject but he did not want to.
If Kabila could change any aspect of this world, it would be that traditional african music could be known all over the globe, so that artists like himself could continue to grow in their art.
My last question was what his definition of happiness was, he simply answered "Liberty".

while we were at the S. Street show the girls got interviewed for PBS. I don't know if they'll make the final editing cut because they were totally nervous and spastic. lol... but I guess they might be on TV soon.

The Habitat III Conference took place in Quito, Ecuador, from 17 to 20 October 2016. The mission of the Conference was the adoption of the New Urban Agenda.
I've been interviewing for a job for well over a month now and the last interview (times two) was something like two and a half, maybe three weeks ago? It was supposed to be the final interview--at least that is what I was led to believe since I met with students, staff, faculty, the clinic dean and the president herself. Then I got an email saying they wanted to do one more interview with everyone ALL TOGETHER in one room. So everyone of those people aforementioned, I now have to meet with in one big room today. So this is me--in my bidness suit.
This process has taken over a month to complete. I am tired and frustrated, but I do want this job. All I can do is just go in there and give it my best--and know that I am a great candidate and that they'd be lucky to have me. Positive thinking, eh.

Mike a is 33 year old father. His favorite color is emerald green and amethyst, and his favorite food is Thai Green.
His dream is to learn how to fly and ultimately to be like a wizard.
Two words Mike used to describe himself was "Renaissance" because he thinks he can do anything, and his second word was "Man". When I asked him why "man" he said: "It's learning how to be."
His favorite childhood memory was when he put his older sister in a box and used her hand to control the remote control for the tv. His worst childhood memory was when he realized he was a leech.
If Mike could change anything in today's world it would be to legalize guns.
Finally, I asked him what the "Happiness" ment for him and he said: "Happiness is a growing a potato and then feeding it me my son."

I'm in England for a week now, helping some people making a medieval rap thriller short film. Mike is actually an actor in the film. Mike was also in a Hip Hop group called Michaelis Constant that I was listening to a lot when I was in middle school, it was fun to finally meet him.
Have a great day!
