Minibrix consisted primarily of interlocking bricks made of hard rubber. They were made by the Premo Rubber Company, Petersfield, Hampshire, England.

This is the 2017 UCS version of the Millennium Falcon, complete with ten minifigures. At 7541 pieces, it is the largest Star Wars Lego set ever released; and the largest set of any collection ever commercially released. The newest Ultimate Collector Series set is also the 75192 Millennium Falcon. On June 5, 2015 an unopened box of the older 2007 Millennium Falcon Lego set was auctioned at online auction house Catawiki for 5,000 euros, making it the most expensive LEGO set ever!

The pattern of the interlocking brick pathway competes with the pattern of spring raindrops.

I noticed this small Ferris wheel while I was photographing the lanterns at Nawarat bridge, and thought I'd head that way to get some photos of it. Lucky for me, there was a street food village surrounding it (I was pretty hungry at the time) and even though it was around midnight, it was still open.

I went for some of my go-to favorites, Gyoza - Japanese style fried dumplings stuffed with pork and cabbage, and a cocoa yen to wash it down (yen is the Thai word for cold) it's like iced coffee, if you replaced the coffee with hot cocoa.

Since this was taken in July 2007, I thought this was a monarch butterfly. Thanks to my recent appreciation of butterflies (2021), I checked to see if it was correct. Turns out, I was wrong!

This butterfly is called a Canadian Tiger Swallowtail. The flowers are the white Siberian Iris

Phi as seen in interlocking bricks outside.

Mill Pond Park's trails are a mixture of different surfaces: boardwalk, asphalt, interlocking brick, and dirt.

Light and shadow play across a patterned brick walkway, creating a moody contrast that mirrors the duality of life—routine and unpredictability, darkness and hope. The structured surface meets nature’s randomness as tree shadows shift with the sun. This evocative black and white image by Duncan Rawlinson captures the rhythm of everyday moments and the quiet tension between order and uncertainty.

Instead we wandered around the neighborhood and looked at big houses with big driveways.

Yesterday's sunshine uncovered part of my patio. It will be covered again by nightfall, but I can picture myself sitting there in a few weeks time.

(This was going to be my pic for today's Daily Shoot challenge, but I opted for this shot instead.)

The interesting leading lines of a downtown walkway near Queen and Simcoe streets.

Daily Shoot: Find a grid pattern somewhere-maybe a brick sidewalk or ceiling tiles-and make a photo of an interesting slice of it.

Do you know a fan off those little plastic bricks? They would love to wear this shirt made to look like a stack of bricks. A name can be added!
