This is an example of the kind of work we've been doing in "Graphics for the Building Arts" (drafting class). I'm not showing the furniture plan and reflected ceiling plan because the whole sheet came out a bit crap, and I know it'd be a little difficult for people to understand what they're looking at; this is easier to "get."
Anyway, this is an example of what a construction document would look like. What you're seeing (if you can see it) is an isometric 30-degree view as well as a North and a West elevation of the materials resource room at SCAD. Furniture, windows, pipes and electrical are all included here. The right side (if it were fully filled out) would include some specifications and notes as well as the designer's info & logo, the client & room(s) being designed, and so on.

A long narrow space proved challenging to fit a new sushi restaurant prototype. Our design steered away from traditional Japanese clichés and instead was based on the concept of a traditional fish market.
Our Gardenia bush has lots of blossoms right now. I cut one and floated it in a bowl of water. The morning light shining on it was so pretty I thought I should take a picture.
