The main prayer hall in the El Ghriba Synagogue :)
The El Ghriba Synagogue, is an ancient Orthodox Jewish congregation and synagogue, located in the village Er-Riadh on the island of Djerba, Tunisia. It is the oldest synagogue in North Africa. Tradition holds that the synagogue was founded by priests who fled Jerusalem after the destruction of Solomon's Temple by Nebuchadnezzar in 586 BCE. The priests are said to have taken with them the doors and altar stone from the destroyed temple. Today, visitors can see this stone set into the synagogue's vault. The current synagogue was built in the 19th century on the site of a 16th-century structure. Its interior is decorated with a series of blue columns, green, yellow, and blue qallaline tiles characteristic of Tunisian architecture, and a beautifully carved wooden reading lectern. On Passover, the synagogue is a pilgrimage site for Tunisian Jews.

Główna sala modlitewna w synagodze El Ghriba :)
State room in Cardiff Castle has some of the most beautiful interiors among the castles in UK, Worth visiting
Last week I posted a photo of the outside of this house at Avoncroft Museum of Buildings. The inside has been presented as it could have been when first built in the 16th Century.
The house, called The Town House at the museum, was originally in Bromsgrove. It was demolished in 1962 and eventually reconstructed at the museum, opening to the public in 1967.
