Stay positive and happy. Work hard and don't give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround yourself with happy, warm and genuine people.

To all the other dreamers out there, don't ever stop or let the world's negativity disenchant you or your spirit. If you surround yourself with love and the right people, anything is possible.

Adam Greene

It's important to surround yourself with good people, interesting people, young people, young ideas. Go places, learn new stuff. Look at the world with wonder - don't be tired about it.

Thank you for your kind visit. Have a wonderful and beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️

It was a pleasure to see Jonathan Safran Foer at Printer's Row Lit Fest. I just finished his newest novel, Here I Am, a couple of weeks ago. Of course, everyone takes away different things from literature but I liked how he explored human choices, the sense of a Jewish American identity and the differences between Jewish Americans and Israelis, and also the sense of family.

The novel is really complex in it's sense of character development and the way the plot shapes these characters in how they react. In conversation, he talked about the idea of not truly knowing how you'll react until that even occurs. He also spoke about being less terrified over the Trump administration at this point but how he first felt.

As a vegan, I enjoyed how Foer mentioned that he is raising his children vegetarian and how, when some ask him how he can force his own personal choices onto children, he would suggest how could they raise their children as carnivores...that either way you are making that choice. I thought that was interesting. I still haven't read Eating Animals, a nonfiction work even though I have read all of his novels. However, I don't think I am really the person who needs to read Eating Animals as I'm already vegan having done enough research about decreasing methane gas and maximizing land use to minimize world poverty. I also have a fondness for animals and (as I've said since I was 13), if I wouldn't eat my cat, why would I eat another living thing that can feel pain?

This was right after the March For Truth protest about a week ago in Chicago. I loved watching this kid, so carefree and happy after marching with others in his city who also very desperately want not only a new president but a new election because we are supposed to be a democracy and our democracy has been stolen. If you've been following the news from abroad, let me update you...Trump clearly wants no investigation into Russian connections. He is obstructing justice and Comey's testimony proves this. The idea that Trump would testify under oath and an oath would actually mean something is also ridiculous. This is a paid tv actor, a man who might not even know the difference between fasehoods and reality and we're going to cling to the idea that an oath carries some weight? No. Let's get real.

And, meanwhile, Americans were so distracted with Comey they didn't realize the House GOP fast-tracked Trumpcare so that they could drink beer and celebrate taking health care away from 24+ millions of Americans. If this doesn't exactly sound in line with the way a democracy should function, you're correct. It isn't.

A friend of mine has given me a huge bag of negatives and photographs from many years ago, it's going to take me a long while to scan them all, but I think that it is going to be worth it as there are treasures to be found like these two of Brighton in 1924, they were taken on 116 film for 2½×4¼ inch negatives

Dutch violinist and conductor André Rieu plays to his fans at the 3 Arena while cruise ship AIDAaura conducts its own tour of the Capital at the weekend.

Both André Rieu & AIDAaura were touring the city on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th, both revisiting after a long absence of concerts & cruises caused by the Covid pandemic, thankfully all returning to normal in 2022. The concerts had originally been part of his 2020 tour.

Cruises ships visiting Dublin in 2022 are currently only given cruise 18 berth along the East Link toll bridge due to port works, or outbased at Dun Laoighare, AIDAaura is the largest ship this year so far & what a beauty with its amazing graphics.

AIDAaura had come down from Belfast & continued on from Dublin to Portree in Scotland.

André Rieu had flown in with his orchestra on private KlasJet Boeing 737-500 LY-FLT before returning to his native Maastricht, The Netherlands before more Wembley dates.
