Christen Industries Inc PITTS S-2B
The Pitts S-2B is the ideal airplane for basic through advanced aerobatic instruction. Traditional tube, wood and fabric construction provide an airframe that is extremely strong. With a 260 horsepower engine and an empty weight comparable to a Cessna 152, the climb performance is astonishing. The Hartzell "Claw" 3 blade composite propeller provides additional thrust, useful in low speed maneuvers. Standard features on the S-2B include inverted fuel and oil, symmetrical airfoil wings, elevator servo tabs, and aileron spades. N5337V has control surface gap seals, a Hooker harness in the rear seat, a voice activated intercom and Active Noise Reduction headsets.
