Azda najznámejšou z goríl je legendárny Hugo. Jedná sa o opicu číslo 4. Dňa 1.10.2017 si naňho počkala asi dvadsiatka fotografov rôznych národností v Turanoch.

On a snowy and frosty evening IC 56 making its way from Oulu to Helsinki at Seinäjoki. Sr2 pantograph giving some arcs due to cold temperature.
Vectrons pantograph giving some sparks and lighting up the scenery while pushing IC 34 all the way from Rovaniemi to Helsinki on a frosty winter evening. Todays service was running around 80 minutes late.

As the sun sets on the last day of 2019 we see 73971 and 969 at Forteviot with this years 5Z25 to Polmadie - a working I have always managed to capture since taking up this hobby almost 3 years ago. This time it's formed of 2 73s and 8 Mk.5s instead of the old 67 and 8 Mk.2/3s.
This train originated in Inverness after terminating with the previous evenings Highlander service. GBRf/Serco are unable to use a shore supply in Inverness over the festive period and so the stock was moved to Polmadie for stabling until 02/01/2020.

La 1739 des Nederlandse Spoorwegen (N.S.) quitte Bad-Bentheim, en tête du train IC 144 Berlin Gesundbrunnen 12h38 - Amsterdam Centraal 19h00 (dimanche 17 avril 2022).
La locomotive a remplacé en gare commutable la BR 101 qui a tracté le train de Berlin à Bad-Bentheim. Malgré l'infrastructure de la caténaire type allemande, la section de ligne entre Bad-Bentheim et la frontière avec les Pays-Bas est bien alimentée en 1500 V CC.
Cette locomotive fait partie d'une série de 81 locomotives construites pour les NS par Alstom entre 1990 et 1994. Elles ont été précédées par une série 1600, construites en 58 exemplaires entre 1980 et 1983, sur la base des BB 7200 SNCF. Aujourd'hui, les nez cassés néerlandais sont en voie de disparition. Les 1700 gardent encore la traction des trains internationaux Amsterdam - Berlin entre Amsterdam et Bad-Bentheim. Des opérateurs privés fret ont également rachetés aux NS des locomotives séries 1600.
This morning's 1E06 was worked by 801203, which in turn was in the hands of a friendly driver who gave a sound of the horn and a wave as he passed Sunderland Bridge.
The service had just departed Durham on the way to Kings Cross from Glasgow Central.

IC 905 hauled by Sr1 3021 departing from Tampere towards Pieksämäki. These mixed IC trains that included older blue carriages were common on some routes in the first half of 2010's.
On track 4 Sr2 is waiting for departure to Helsinki with IC 166.

Sr2 3226 hauled IC 911 continuing its journey from Turku towards Pieksämäki after a brief stop at Toijala.
Približne od polovice marca má štátna železničná spoločnosť ZSSK, a.s. prenajatý rušeň 193.222 od spoločnosti Lokotrain. Spočiatku vykonal niekoľko "zácvikových" jázd pre inštruktorov, neskôr bol nasadený na vlaky IC 523/524 a najnovšie sa ukázal aj v čele rýchlikov 603/612. Na fotke v čele piatkového IC 523 sa blíži k zastávke Trebejov pár kilometrov pred cieľom 445km dlhej cesty do Košíc.
Sr2 3246 hauling IC 413 from Oulu towards Rovaniemi. This intercity is one of the few left in Finland that doesn't consist only double-decker coaches.
During a trip to Forteviot myself and 2 other photographers were presented with the opportunity to capture 2 of ScotRail's HSTs passing.
43132 was leading refurbished set HA20 and 43033 South with 1T22 from Aberdeen to Glasgow. The set heading North consisted of classic set HA02 with 43139/43177 - this was 1A67 from Glasgow to Aberdeen.
Availability of HSTs looks to be improving and it's becoming normal to find 5 or 6 out most days. It's still sketchy at times, but things are moving in the right direction and it doesn't look to be as dire as it did a few months ago. Hopefully things keep going this way and the above becomes a common sight as we move into 2020.
This outing was my first proper chance to see what the Canon 90D can do. It's a massive step up from the old 1300D and it'll take a bit of getting used to, but the results are promising so far.
