I edited out the speed numbering from this CPU so it could be used as a generic socket-370 Pentium-3 with a front side bus (FSB) at 133MHz and a 256k cache.

I've been upgrading my four year old Core 2 Duo desktop PC to a new Core i7 Ivy Bridge system. It crunches nearly three times as fast, and idle power usage went from 78 watts to 34. Truly amazing! Now onto making it a Hackintosh.
