In light of the recent Integrity poll regarding E59th I decided to get out one of my FR dolls to see what I thought. The suit fit Vanessa well.
We stopped in Cozumel Mexico for the day. While I did have a decent time, I do find it sad that whatever cultural integrity it formerly had has been lost in the vice of rampant commercialism.

I had such a strong adverse reaction to the first issue of this mold, Making An Entrance, that I passed on the 2017 version based on the 2016 Design Competition Winning Entry by Salvadore Lopez Arriaga called Alta Moda. Obviously I wasn't alone in this reasoning as there was only 425 in the edition size. When this doll was released, like many other collectors, I totally regretted that decision. My best doll friend is very close friends with Sal as they live near each other in N.C. They rode with me to the 2019 Live From Fashion Week Integrity Toys Convention. After meeting Sal, it made me yearn for this doll even more. (He is a real sweetie!) This doll rarely comes available secondary market, and when it does, it's very expensive. I was able to pick up a "New In Box" version from a collector who had purchased the doll for the ensemble and never redressed her. I made an offer and it was accepted. My great fortune because I think this is the very best version of the mold and truly looks like a runway model going to go-sees. She is wearing the 2009 Monogram Black Party ensemble. LOVE HER!
