너에게로 달린다. (native instrument kontrol s4)posted by 언데드

paintbrushes from a gifted art camp that I covered for work the other day. The school rarely calls the media about these events, and if they do I rarely hear about them because the chain of communication at work is a little rough. I found out about this one through my friend W. who works at the school where the camp was taking place.

The main instrument, which remains mostly intact, was a monumental meridian arc, now called the Fakhrī sextant. This curving stone arch once measured 40 metres tall and was used by astronomers to measure the angle of elevation of bright celestial objects.

This is a picture I took of my guitar and keyboard. I used the pencil tool to draw a white outline around both of them. Then I used the color replacement tool to color the instruments blue and the background grey. This emphasizes the instruments.

Why does God prefer broken instruments?

Maybe weak and broken people are the only ones who are humble enough to allow God to use them. They’re the only ones who can truly become God’s instrument because they know their weaknesses and brokenness, so they know they need God and they depend on God. The Gospel’s term for this is “poor in spirit.” If we want to become God’s instrument, if we want God to use us to do his work, we must become poor in spirit, humble and aware of our need for God and consequently willing to allow ourselves to be used.
