ramé-hart is a world leader in contact angle goniometers and tensiometers. In addition to our standard models, we are setup to design and build custom instruments for specific applications. About 10% of our sales are for custom solutions. Based on customer-supplied requirements, we can design and build just about any type of fixture, chamber, or support that is used with or integrated into an existing instrument. We can also modify our standard instrument designs to accommodate special requirements.
If you are interested in learning more about having a custom tool built for your application, please contact us (see www.ramehart.com/custom.htm) with detailed requirements. We will work up a preliminary design proposal and submit it to you with a firm quotation. You will review and approve the design and issue a purchase order. Often we will also require a deposit. We then finalize the design and begin production.
Popular electronic edutainment from 30 years ago (early 1980's). Still functional with 4 C batteries and ready for the next generation if they want.
We have many musical instruments in our home, but for this category I knew it had to be a picture of our weirdest-the Pianoette. It cracks me up that it has the price ($28.50) as part of its label. I'm not sure how old this is.
This was topped with a Bassoon, Flute and Saxophone, all hand made from icing. It could be topped with any instrument

Standing on its nose, clipped to a pencil holder. I've put Envirotex Light into the instrument panel. The bezels are nice recesses, good for this sort of thing (but not for adding decals, unfortunately. Envirotex Light takes 24 hours to fully cure, but will be solid yet still tacky by 24 hours. Try to keep it away from dust at this point.
Sarah Paradis is most looking forward to the all-German concert, which includes music of Richard Strauss and Richard Wagner.
ZuperOctave is the new band of guitarist Gilad Hekselman, one of the young Israeli jazzmusicians that conquer the world from Brooklyn, New York. He has worked before with artists like Chris Potter, Mark Turner and Jeff Ballard. Gilad’s improvisations are filled with surprises and his compositions sound catchy and timeless. With ZuperOctave he goes back to characteristic, electronic instruments like Fender Rhodes, synthesizers and drumpads. Last fall he released his newest album ‘Ask for Chaos’.

Well, most of them - the holes in the pilot panel are for the navigation heads (GPS, VOR 1 and VOR 2). The one below the Strikefinder on the right is for the flaps. The ELT switch will go in the rectangular hole above the carbon monoxide monitor in the right panel. See how nice the electronic engine gauges look?

Alan Tosh is a Canadian artist who makes all manner of art from natural sources such as wood, antler, and gourds he grew himself. Here he holds a 4 string gourd fretless banjo, with two more of his handmade instruments on the table in front of him. A gourd violin (with resonator attached to the head for extra sound) is the smaller piece, and the large instrument is a "Chell-hu", modelled after the traditional Chinese 2 string fiddle called an Er-hu. Alan's version has been extended to the length of a cello - hence the name. Photographed May 11, 2013 at his home at Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, Canada. ca.etsy.com/people/Northcrafts
