Well, most of them - the holes in the pilot panel are for the navigation heads (GPS, VOR 1 and VOR 2). The one below the Strikefinder on the right is for the flaps. The ELT switch will go in the rectangular hole above the carbon monoxide monitor in the right panel. See how nice the electronic engine gauges look?
Alan Tosh is a Canadian artist who makes all manner of art from natural sources such as wood, antler, and gourds he grew himself. Here he holds a 4 string gourd fretless banjo, with two more of his handmade instruments on the table in front of him. A gourd violin (with resonator attached to the head for extra sound) is the smaller piece, and the large instrument is a "Chell-hu", modelled after the traditional Chinese 2 string fiddle called an Er-hu. Alan's version has been extended to the length of a cello - hence the name. Photographed May 11, 2013 at his home at Shawnigan Lake, British Columbia, Canada. ca.etsy.com/people/Northcrafts

Notes: When these get re-printed, I need to do some alterations on the treble clefs. Overall, I'm pleased, as this was my first real attempt at more Illustrator-based design, being formerly strictly a PS girl. I do like the opportunities it opens up and look forward to improving. I'm about 85% happy with it overall. I tend to be too subtle sometimes though, forget it's not a painting or a photo. Heh.
Been making shadow boards at work for the Separating Instruments (whatever the hell they might be) at some big dairy on the west coast. The more i worked on them the more they seemed to want to be dingbats which became a font (of sorts).
All suggestions on what works/doesn't work are gladly accepted...although not necessarily acted upon as i am quite huffy.
Instruments in O'Flaherty's Pub in Dingle awaiting their owner's return for a blast of lively Irish music.
Yep, I'm taking up drums! And I absolutely love this set - even though I currently lack cymbals, stands, and a throne.
I shot this for a client who makes musical instruments; this is a key off of a clarinet heated with a little blowtorch. It was pretty cool, actually, and the camera handled the low light surprisingly well
