The people in the hangar are the ones who chose to do a static-line jump. That's the kind the military does, where your ripcord is hooked to the plane, and your 'chute gets pulled as you jump. The upside is you're by yourself, the downside is you don't get to freefall. The guy walking up on the far left is my tandem instructor.

When asked, the Soldier would enlighten tourists on what the Soldiers lot was. He was in the 1744 mode, which was informative and funny. He asked 2 guys where they came from they replied, "Vancouver", "Where's that then?" he replied. "Out on the West Coast", said one of the men, "Sorry sir, West Coast of what?" The men shook there heads and walked off, remarking, "What a Dumb Ass". I don't think they quite understood what was going on!
