sywater: @amandact yep I clocked Mike's pic of Shadwell basin. I love the Wapping project even if it is a bit up it's own rear end. I always wonder how it survives in somewhere quiet & out of the way like Wapping. Anyway, can't wait to see the pics from you guys

sywater: @amandact yep it's expensive alright but nice food. Service can be a bit random though. I'm back from Barcelona (it was great!) but hopefully off to Frankfurt on Tues just to take pics, yay!

sywater: @amandact aah St John - one of my fave meals ever. My wife (a vegetarian) was horrified when they wheeled a whole suckling pig past her!
amandact: @sywater_ud I'm not surprised! It's definitely a place for the meat lover. It's quite a special place for us - it's where we got engaged and we also went for my birthday recently (you can't beat a chitterling or sweetbread on a special occasion!)
