For the past 40 years, black tip sharks in Bora Bora lagoon have been fed every morning. A great experience to feed them, then feed the sting rays and the millions of "nemo" fish!!!

It's really instant coffee, even without stirring :-) I do prefer old-fashioned coffee made in a percolator though !

Critical Masses: My aim was pretty obvious i think. To get a nice sunrise shot.

Shot a roll of 120 with my Zeiss Ikonta - 4.5 X 6 format, and developed it with Caffenol - Washing Soda - Vitamin C and Instant Coffee. I'll be posting some shots soon.

On the right is my other Zeiss, a super Ikonta 532/16, 6 X 6 format.

No, these aren't little stones, it is my Altura Instant coffee. I put a little in my Dandy Blend (which is an herbal caffeine-free coffee substitute) in the morning. It gives me a little boost.

It is not orange juice but Glucose and Owl brand coffee which is the best instant 2-1 I have ever tried. If you are in Singapore, should search for this brand.

More messing around with the 100mm, some instant coffee granules and a teaspoon.

I found getting the dof on this one right quite a challenge - lots of failed shots and I wouldn't call this one perfect either, but it's done what I set out to do.

It's very chilly and damp here today so I decided to have a Mocha drink. It was so yummy but very filling. Stu drank half of it.

So I love my coffee. I'm just really lazy, so for me instant coffee just works out better.

An interesting advert showing the range of brands available via the UK subsidiary of the vast Nestlé company. At the time they were probably best known in the UK for their ranges of milk and cream products including Nestlé's condensed milk, Ideal evaporated milk and sterilised cream - a small tin that for some reason in our Lancastrian household was known as 'blobby cream'!

Also shown are Nestlé's chocolate, that was not as common as market leaders Cadbury's but that I associate with vending machines, and two 'instant' beverages, Ricory and Milo. The former appears to have been part of the then relatively popular chicory and coffee mixtures. The striking omission here is the company's really well-known brand of Nescafé. Also depicted are the range of homogenised baby foods.

The hand holding the coffee pot is from a vintage Nescafe advertisement. If you look carefully at the jar of Nescafe in front of the glass of iced coffee you will see the words "Soluble Coffee Product". Sounds so delicious!
