Juché sur son éperon rocheux, le Château de Vêves domine la vallée du village de Celles depuis près de 800 ans. Ce remarquable château médiéval en pierre calcaire appartient toujours à la même famille depuis sa fondation au Moyen-Age !

El castell de Dunvegan es troba al nord de Dunvegan, a l'illa de Skye. És la seu del MacLeod, cap del clan MacLeod. Probablement un lloc fortificat des dels temps més antics, el castell es va construir per primera vegada al segle XIII.

The Himeji-Jo (Himeji castle) was the second castle I ever explored in Japan, and I was lucky enough its restoration finished just few months before. The white walls were shining in front of me and the surrounding dark sky was preparing to rain. The atmosphere was surreal, the air full of humidity and Ion+ and that huge castle in front of me indeed caused my legs shaking, thinking about how much blood has been shed in that place, in the Samurai period when families kept fight to overcome each others. I don't remember exactly how much time I spent in Nara, but for sure it was not enough. If you are in a hurry, Nara doesn't look 'gorgeous' at all compared with other vast Japanese towns, but it deserves more emotional time to be connected with. You absolutely have to sit down and breathe and experience the lengthy history this ancient town has behind his shoulder. This is the Kōfukuji Five Storied Pagoda, where a scholar group was allegedly asking me a tourist survey in English to test their language skill. December 2014
