This is an illustrated tribute to Daenerys Targaryen and Emilia Clarke the actress who portrays her in HBO's Game of Thrones.
In my opinion the mother of dragons looks the best in blue back in season 4.
To me fire and blood means the breaker of chains' passion and drives to change the world for the better, NOT literal fire and blood for destruction.

This is an abstract art created for my mom's birthday, as she has been dedicate herself to create 33 paintings based on 33 forms of Avalokitesvara (Guanyin in Chinese or Kannon in Japanese), the Buddhist deity of compassion.
I took it as a challenge to create simple representative icons based on the description of each form of the deity, but of course there are a few of them I ended up just wrote down a Chinese character to represent the form. Nevertheless, it is a fun creative exercise.

This is a tribute art of Godzilla: King of Monsters (2019), created while binge watching HBO's Chernobyl (2019).
The blue atomic blast shooting toward the sky from the official movie poster of the new Godzilla movie, reminded me of the blue beam emitted from the explosion of Chernobyl disaster.
Indeed the terror of radiation and misinformation are much much worse than any disaster, simply because those can be invisible yet lethal, quiet but deadly .

This is an updated illustrated tribute to poet Sylvia Plath (Oct 27th, 1932 - Feb 11th, 1963) for her birthday.
The art is inspired by her poem and her artworks. It is divided by half with a monotone shadow side represents depression, and a colorful side represents creativity.
I would like to dedicate this art to people with depression. Wish them to find the strength to keep going, to grow and create, to find meanings and love, to shine and share brightly.
