I used the tone curve and grain slider to give this photo a trendy vintage look! i like the basket in the lower left hand corner because it kind of adds a quirky unbalance to the photo.

I started with the Nashville preset and to change it I added exposure and lowered the blue tones by adding temperature.

Used Rise and Fall Preset. Changed Contrast, Vibrance, and Clarity on the Preset the match the picture more. Removed Distortion cause it completely changed the look of the original picture. It looked flat. Changed the Red HSL to decrease some of the really bright sharpie cause it didn’t match the edit.

Used screen setting. Toned down the color a little bit with a mask in photoshop.

I used the Mayfair Park press and the decreased the exposure, increased the texture, and decreased the temperature a little bit.

the insta preset I used was matte finish. I brought up the the clarity. I dropped the exposure vibrance and red with the hsl sliders. I also did the eye edits.

Film X preset plus edits to that.

2025.08.24: photo diary project: For the past few months I’ve been printing out some of my pictures and keeping them on my desk as a sort of photo diary. Today this picture will join them

So I like framed this picture with a (green) branch and then did normal model edits and put the insta filter on.

I decreased the clarity to make the background more blurry and decreased the highlights and the blacks to bring out the details more of the foreground and I increase the contrast and shadows to balance it out. I also used a film x preset which blends to the photo.

old polar, adjusted tone curve to bring out colors in sky, decreased saturation of shadows in split toning to make it less blue. decreased noise on sky to make it softer. raised shadows/ increased temperature on the mountains. highlights down/ increased clarity globally
